Our Mission

Dz Gospel Blues Club is more than just a website—it's an online community, like a virtual church, dedicated to spreading Christianity through the power of music.  Our purpose is to make every member feel great about themselves while globally expressing Christian faith

via uplifting sounds.  We are committed to being a legitimate and trustworthy platform for our community.

Our Music

While our name highlights the blues, our musical palette has expanded significantly.  We started focusing solely on the Blues genre but have since broadened our horizons to include a diverse range of styles.

Today, you can experience everything from Gospel Blues, Gospel Blues Rock, and Gospel Reggae to Gospel Rap, Gospel Soul, and Gospel Funk-style music. The best part? All of our songs are completely FREE for our members to enjoy.  We do ask for donations at different places on the website to help us to maintain our program / website and to invest in Christian projects.

Our Founders:  

Mercy Dees (Philippines) and Duke Lennon (USA)

The creative force behind Dz Gospel Blues Club is Duke Lennon.

His journey with music began early, playing slide trombone in elementary school and later mastering lower brass instruments like valve trombone, baritone, and tuba, as well as synthesizers and drum machines in high school.  After attending Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University), he paused his musical pursuits to focus on his Mechanical Engineering studies, where he briefly met Lionel Richie, who was home for an interview with Barbara Walters. 

 

Following a 20-year career as a Mechanical Engineer and another decade in call centers, Duke Lennon's love for music never faded. 

After nearly 40 years, he returned to his true passion, now embracing AI music to craft his unique sound.  He defines the genre & vibe and writes the title, theme, and up to 70% of the lyrics for most songs, which are primarily generated using Soniva AI Music.
